Dan Clifford is the co-founder and Chief Experience Officer at AnswerLab. He co-founded the company to deliver trusted customer insights that help the world’s leading brands build outstanding digital products and services. The company focuses exclusively on user experience research to understand what people see, do, think and feel when using web sites, mobile applications, and other digital products. AnswerLab is recognized as an Inc. 500 company and has been ranked by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the 100 fastest-growing privately-held companies in the bay area 3 years in a row.

Dan has been consulting with industry leaders for 20 years, helping clients make the right decisions that guide the building of outstanding digital products. Clients include global brands such as Google, Facebook, EA, ESPN, Honda, Harley Davidson, Intuit, Genentech, Ogilvy, Franklin Templeton, FedEx, eBay, PayPal and Walmart. At AnswerLab, Dan oversees the overall client experience with the company, manages marketing operations, and ensures the firm attracts top talent. Prior to co-founding AnswerLab, Dan led a variety of product, marketing and strategic alliances roles at startup and established tech companies.

Dan graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Brown University with degrees in Psychology and Organizational Behavior & Management. He earned an MBA degree honors from Kellogg. He lives in Oakland with his wife Linda and 2-year-old son Zack.
