While mobile developers may personally prefer one operating system over another, clients are increasingly demanding cross-platform development to address the myriad devices used by their customers. For years, a developer could make a good living building on the iOS platform. But Android’s growing market share cannot be ignored. And many Android developers see value in crossing over to the other side to create products for die-hard iOS device users. This 20-minute talk and Q&A is aimed at both iOS and Android developers who are interested in exploring the technical differences between the two platforms. Topics will include:
CTO and cofounder of Meridian, a platform for iOS and Android location-based services. Also cofounded Spotlight Mobile, creator of award-winning apps on a variety of mobile platforms for brands like Nike, Vogue, and Barnes & Noble. Developed the first widely-used “indoor GPS” mobile app for the American Museum of Natural History.

Nick, you did great! Just keep on speaking…
This was my first attempt at speaking ever. I’d love to get better; any constructive criticism would be much appreciated.
