As of Android 2.2 you can notify your Android application once relevant new data is available in the web.

This talk will start with a high-level overview of the communication flow between your app, your application server and the Google Cloud. Afterwards the necessary development steps to implement the Google push service in your app will be demonstrated. Finally a potential server implementation will be presented.

After this talk you should know the necessary steps to enable C2DM in your application.
