We will cover the Android security model, its permission system with custom permissions and enforcement, device management and policies, and developer DOs and DON’Ts including data/transport encryption, preventing component leakage and tap-jacking, etc. Finally, we will also venture into more exotic areas of security such as anti-malware, firewall, SE-Linux, ASLR, and Android exploits (rooting).

By the end of this session you will have a better understanding of what it takes to make Android a more trusted component of our personal and professional lives.
