The presentation will begin with a demonstration of a range of home-made accessories built by the author including: An Ultrasonic distance meter and a Geiger counter.

Simon has been active in the Android and Arduino worlds almost from the beginning. He has spoken at a number of international conferences including SD Best Practice in Moscow (http://www.sdexpo.ru/)
He is author of four Android and Arduino books with McGraw Hill including ‘Arduino + Android Projects for the Evil Genius’, ‘Programming Arduino’ and ‘30 Arduino Projects for the Evil Genius’.
His interests include agile and mobile software development, as well as physical computing.
